Dreams can become reality

I have been thinking about this for a while now. I have seen things in my dreams that seem so real and beautiful. I am embarking on a ten year journey to become the person I WANT to be. Not who everyone else wants me to be. I am who I am and that's all I can be; the best me there is.

The beginning began last Saturday evening with a post on Facebook and a phone call that was made from the post. I went for the interview today and felt such empowerment and strength in my own personal energy. The woman I met today had wonderful energy and met mine with such a tone that the dream has started to become reality. A stepping stone. I start my job at a paint party place on Tuesday. We are going to do some amazing work together.

Next is my phone call to the Memphis College of Art tomorrow to tell them about school this semester. I'm shooting for August in going. It will probably be 3 years in the making. Then 3 years for my master's if this disease doesn't rear it's ugly head again. Just have to have the funds to go through with all of this, which I am working on. PASS.

Then to start building a foundation in an area to start a non-profit for children and the arts with life coping skills and creativity. To better oneself through creativity and get over the hurdle of what they have been given to work with in life. I really want to see this through. Any thoughts and suggestions are wanted, hell, needed!

Whitney

  1. Stick to what your conscience leads you to do and never doubt it. Seek wise, and more importantly truthful, council from elders and peers. Rely on your friends for help, whether it be material or emotional, and do not let pride unravel the fabric of your relationships. Temper yourself with humility, and be patient for all things out of your influence. Flee from fear, because fear will infect you, it will plant doubt in yourself and your friends. Fear will breed anger against all things within you. Do not let fear infect you, combat it with the understanding that you are the master of your will, and you will never cease to live by your own ethos no matter how much another might manipulate you to do so. Embrace peace as a welcome visitor. Above all, strengthen your faith in the truths you know, never abandon hope, and most importantly never forsake love. Love is the truth of truths in this world, and without it, darkness in it's many forms will fill in. My prayers and love go with you.
